The Hoosier Coho Club's annual Powder Puff fishing contest for ladies offered up some impressive catches on August 21.
Chris Frank claimed big fish honors with a 19.50-pound chinook salmon which was good for $200. Cash prizes were awarded for the ten largest salmon or trout, going down to $20 for 10th place.
All 31 entrants caught fish, including a cool dozen lake trout over 14 pounds.
Frank's big king ate a meat rig on a 300-foot copper while the huge lakers were grabbing a variety of magnum spoons and flasher/fly combos from 70 feet down to the bottom over depths of 115 to 130 feet of water.
